Why work with me?
I’m a professional facilitator who loves her work and enjoys being freelance. After a long career with the John Lewis Partnership I’ve worked with leaders at the Atomic Weapons Establishment, the Legal Services Board, and trained facilitators at the Anglican Church. Always seeking new challenges, I’m currently coaching sixth formers to develop their leadership skills as role models at school. I help people to find a new perspective on an old issue, using my independence of thought to support others in overcoming their challenges.
What can I offer you?
I specialise in team coaching using my coaching skills and psychometric tools. I’m accredited with the Association of Facilitators and an accredited coach using Saville Assessment Psychometrics and Performance Edge, an approach to team coaching that takes group dynamics and teamwork to the next level, helping teams to identify their purpose and working together to achieve success. I’m a registered member of the British Psychological Society and I lead events in-house or at external venues.
How am I going to do this?
My facilitation approach is open, I build trust easily and I’m a good listener, helping people to work out for themselves what they need and then supporting them to act or speak out. I really engage with team dynamics and can help a group of individuals recognise each others’ skills and behaviours to work better together.
Who am I?
I love horses, I ride when I can and volunteer with Riding for the Disabled - such a rewarding role when children connect with horses and learn in so many ways. I live in Reading with my family where my son-in-law and I play tennis for the local club. I am also a Funeral Celebrant, Using my listening and empathic skills to deliver heartfelt funerals with just a touch of humour, befitting the bereaved family.
